The AMEF Conference will be held at the University of Macedonia, which is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. Bus public transport: Two buses connect the airport with the city centre. Bus 01X and Bus 01N (night bus). The bus stop is located at the departures area, in front of entrance 3 of Terminal 1. The ticket costs 1.8 euros. There is a small kiosk next to the bus stop where you can buy your bus ticket. Once you buy the ticket, you need to validate it in the machines inside the bus. Buying the ticket on the bus is possible using the ticket machines on-board. The price will be slightly higher and you pay only in cash (coins). We suggest you buy the ticket from the kiosk as the bus might be busy and it would be difficult to purchase a ticket. Taxi: A taxi service is also available at the airport on a 24-hour basis. More information and special rates for AMEF participants will be announced here soon.
